SENIOR Designer/Drafter

Location: Florida
Company: DECK Four Innovation, Inc.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Designer/Drafter to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will support the mechanical/fluids department, structural and electrical Ground Support Equipment (GSE) design efforts by developing complete sets of technical drawings and detailed 2D/3D models.

This position involves creating complex design features that require advanced drafting skills to accurately visualize and portray aerospace and mechanical configurations. Assignments routinely require the application of mathematical formulas to generate land contours, compute weights and centers of gravity, evaluate load capacities, determine dimensions, and calculate material quantities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, thorough knowledge of aerospace design standards, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and development of mechanical, fluids, structural and electrical Ground Support Equipment (GSE) utilizing 3D CAD modeling/drafting software.
  • Provide technical Drafting, Modeling, and product structure support within CREO and Windchill.
  • Produce design, review packages and support in the configuration management of the documentation.
  • Modify drawing packages and create new drawing packages for 30/60/90 percent design reviews.
  • Participate in conceptual design ideas for GSE in support of Orion, Space Launch System, Artemis, International Space Station, and Launch Services Programs.
  • Interface with Shop Technicians, Design Engineers, Checkers, and Configuration Management.
  • Manage completion of tasks on schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.  
  • 3+ years experience in aerospace, mechanical, or structural drafting/design preferred.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as CREO and Windchill.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, drawing standards, and engineering documentation practices.
  • Ability to interpret engineering sketches, requirements, and complex assemblies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Ideal but Not Required

  • Experience in aerospace ground systems or launch‑related hardware.
  • Familiarity with NASA, DoD, or commercial aerospace drawing standards.
  • Experience with configuration management tools and revision control processes.

ELECTrical engineer

Location: Florida

We are seeking talented Electrical Engineers to support a wide range of aerospace and space system projects. This position involves designing, analyzing, and integrating electrical systems for spacecraft, launch infrastructure, and ground support equipment infrastructure. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure mission success and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, operate, sustain electrical systems.
  • Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness layouts.
  • Perform power distribution analysis, load calculations, and circuit protection design.
  • Support integration and testing of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and failure analysis.
  • Prepare technical documentation, test procedures, and compliance reports.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and quality requirements.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar engineering disciplines from an ABET accredited school.  Experience in areospace.
  • Experience: 
    • Entry-Level: 0–2 years (internship or co-op).
    • Mid-Level: 3–5 years in electrical design for aerospace or defense systems.
    • Senior: 6+ years with proven leadership in electrical engineering projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards (NASA, MIL-STD, IPC/WHMA-A-620).
  • Proficiency in electrical CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Altium, or similar).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with power systems, instrumentation and harness design for aerospace applications.
  • Knowledge of grounding, shielding, and EMI/EMC compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with testing and troubleshooting electrical hardware.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, control systems, telemetry and automation for ground support equipment.

RF Engineer

  • Perform RF analysis, simulation, and optimization using tools such as ADS, HFSS, or CST.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF components into larger systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and performance validation of RF hardware.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar engineering disciplines from an ABET accredited school. (Master’s preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in RF design and development.
  • Proficiency in RF simulation tools and test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers).
  • Strong understanding of RF principles, impedance matching, and signal integrity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with antenna design and propagation analysis.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance for RF systems.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and firmware integration.

DataBASE PROGRAMMER
