DECK4 Software Engineers and IT support Launch Control Room systems across the full lifecycle, including system design and development of front-end and back-end architectures, user interfaces, logging and recording capabilities, troubleshooting tools, and mission-critical system applications. Our Engineering expertise includes launch and ground systems checkout and monitoring, launch sequencing, and the development of simulations and models built on robust, scalable frameworks to support reliable operations and training in high-consequence environments.
DECK4 engineers utilize Launch Control Room facilities to perform launch and ground systems checkout and monitoring, execute launch sequencing, conduct troubleshooting activities, and support launch system verification in mission-critical environments.
Modernization
DECK4 lead the modernization of the launch control environment and the upgrade of the Telemetry Record and Playback System in support of the NASA Artemis Program. Our work focuses on enhancing system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency while maintaining rigorous safety and certification standards. Through targeted modernization efforts, DECK4 enables improved data capture, playback fidelity, analysis capabilities, and operator usability—ensuring launch and ground teams have timely, accurate telemetry and resilient tools to support mission-critical decision-making throughout countdown, launch, and post-event operations.
Quality
DECK4 maintains a strong commitment to quality through disciplined, repeatable processes aligned with industry best practices. We developed and maintain the CMMI® Level 3–compliant quality management framework for our customer's program, ensuring that engineering and technical services are consistently planned, executed, measured, and improved.
Pressure Vessel Systems
DECK4 performs certification, operations, and sustainment activities for pressure vessel systems at Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Our support includes compliance with ASME B31 standards, system testing, development and execution of operational procedures, and preparation and maintenance of technical drawings. DECK4 also provides detailed 3D modeling and GD&T–compliant design documentation, ensuring system integrity, configuration control, and safe, reliable operation in mission-critical launch environments.
Safety
DECK4 maintains a strong safety culture while supporting operational requirements for the processing and distribution of propellants, pressurants, and hazardous chemicals in spaceport environments. Our teams provide and support life-safety services for personnel working in toxic and oxygen-deficient environments, ensuring adherence to approved procedures, hazard controls, and regulatory requirements. Through disciplined safety practices, training, and operational rigor, DECK4 helps protect personnel, facilities, and mission assets while enabling safe, reliable launch and ground operations for spaceport customers.
